AN ACT
Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
act relating to the public school system, including certain
provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
laws relating thereto," in reimbursements by Commonwealth and
between school districts, providing for calculation of
payments for charter schools, regional charter schools and
cyber charter schools during 2020-2021 school year; and
making an editorial change.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Article XXV, subarticle (a) heading of the act of
March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code
of 1949, is amended to read:
(a) [Definitions] General Provisions.
Section 2. The act is amended by adding a section to read:
Section 2501.1. Calculation of Payments for Charter Schools,
Regional Charter Schools and Cyber Charter Schools During 2020-
2021 School Year.--For the purpose of calculating payments under
this article for the 2020-2021 school year to a charter school,
regional charter school or cyber charter school, student

enrollment at the charter school, regional charter school or
cyber charter school as of July 1, 2020, shall be utilized.
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
