AN ACT
Providing for a transfer of money from the General Fund to the
School Safety and Security Fund.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Transfer of
Money to the School Safety and Security Fund Act.
Section 2. Interfund transfer.
Not later than 30 days after the effective date of this
section, the State Treasurer shall transfer the sum of
$45,000,000 from the General Fund to the School Safety and
Security Fund established under section 1306-B(h) of the act of
March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code
of 1949.
Section 3. Effective date.
This act shall take effect July 1, 2020, or immediately,
whichever is later.
