AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in registration of vehicles, providing for
Pennsylvania 1950s and 1960s heritage registration plates.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 1369.4. Pennsylvania 1950s and 1960s heritage registration
plates.
(a) General rule.--The department shall design two distinct
heritage registration plates representing the 1950s and the
1960s.
(b) Application and payment.--Upon application and payment
of an additional registration fee of $50 by a person, the
department shall issue a heritage registration plate for a
motorcycle, a passenger car or a truck with a registered gross
weight of not more than 14,000 pounds or a motor home. The
following shall apply:

(1) The 1950s plate shall be a blue background with a
yellow gold outline of the State with the Pennsylvania 1956
general issuance plate as the basis of the design.
(2) The 1960s plate shall be a yellow gold background
with a blue outline of the State with the Pennsylvania 1967
general issuance plate as the basis of the design.
(c) Expiration.--This section shall expire December 31,
2026.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
