AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in hunting and furtaking, further providing for
hunting on Sunday prohibited; and abrogating regulations.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2303(b.1) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended and the section is amended by
adding subsections to read:
§ 2303. Hunting on Sunday prohibited.

(b.1) Exceptions.--Subsection (a) shall not apply to:
(1) The hunting of foxes.
(2) The hunting of coyotes.
(3) Any hunting which occurs on noncommercial regulated
hunting grounds holding a valid permit under section 2928(b)
(2) (relating to regulated hunting grounds permits).
(4) Any hunting authorized by commission regulations
under subsection (d).

(d) Commission regulations.--The commission may promulgate
regulations allowing for the hunting of the following big game
animals in this Commonwealth:
(1) White-tailed deer not more than two Sundays during
the regular firearms season under 58 Pa. Code § 139.4
(relating to seasons and bag limits for the license year).
(2) Bear not more than one Sunday during the regular
firearms season under 58 Pa. Code § 139.4.
(e) Expiration.--Subsection (d) shall expire three years
after the effective date of this subsection.
Section 2. All regulations and parts of regulations are
abrogated insofar as they are inconsistent with this act.
Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
