AN ACT
Making appropriations from the State Racing Fund for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2019, and for the payment of bills
incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2020.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
PART I
PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Section 101. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Appropriation
Act of 2019 – State Racing Fund.
PART III
STATE RACING FUND APPROPRIATIONS
FOR 2019-2020
Section 301. Appropriations from State Racing Fund.
The following amounts, or as much thereof as may be
necessary, are hereby appropriated from the State Racing Fund to
the departments and for the purposes specified in this part for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and for the payment of

bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2020.
Section 302. Department of Agriculture.
The following amounts are
appropriated to the Department of
Agriculture: Federal State
For the State Racing
Commission.
State appropriation....... 7,466,000
For the Pennsylvania Equine
Toxicology and Research
Laboratory.
State appropriation....... 13,025,000
For Horse Racing Promotion.
State appropriation....... 2,393,000
For administration of
Pennsylvania State fairs.
State appropriation....... 207,000
Section 303. Department of Revenue.
The following amounts are
appropriated to the Department of
Revenue: Federal State
For Administration of Racing
Revenue Collections.
State appropriation....... 244,000
PART V
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Section 501. (Reserved).
Section 502. Effective date.
This act shall take effect July 1, 2019, or immediately,
