AN ACT
Making appropriations from the Pennsylvania Race Horse
Development Restricted Receipts Account to the Department of
Agriculture for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and
for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the
close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
PART I
PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Section 101. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Appropriation
Act of 2019 - Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Restricted
Receipts Account.
PART III
PENNSYLVANIA RACE HORSE DEVELOPMENT
RESTRICTED RECEIPTS ACCOUNT APPROPRIATIONS
FOR 2019-2020
Section 301. Appropriations from Pennsylvania Race Horse
Development Restricted Receipts Account.
The following amounts, or as much thereof as may be

necessary, are hereby appropriated from the Pennsylvania Race
Horse Development Restricted Receipts Account to the Department
of Agriculture for the purposes specified in this part for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and for the payment of bills
incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2020.
Section 302. Department of Agriculture.
The following amounts are
appropriated to the Department of
Agriculture: Federal State
For transfer from the
Pennsylvania Race Horse Development
Restricted Receipts Account to the
State Farm Products Show Fund.
State appropriation....... 5,000,000
For the Animal Health
Commission.
State appropriation....... 5,350,000
For the Pennsylvania Veterinary
Laboratory System.
State appropriation....... 5,309,000
For payments to Pennsylvania
fairs.
State appropriation....... 4,000,000
PART V
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Section 501. (Reserved).
Section 502. Effective date.
This act shall take effect July 1, 2019, or immediately,
whichever is later.
