AN ACT
Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in Commonwealth services, further
providing for Pennsylvania Volunteer Loan Assistance Program.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 7385 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding subsections to read:
§ 7385. Pennsylvania Volunteer Loan Assistance Program.

(d) Limitation.--Notwithstanding subsection (a), a fire
company may not qualify for the Pennsylvania Volunteer Loan
Assistance Program established under this section if the fire
company:
(1) operates in the same county as a licensed facility
under 4 Pa.C.S. Pt. II (relating to gaming); and
(2) receives funding under 4 Pa.C.S. (relating to
amusements).
(e) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following

words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this
subsection unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
"Fire company." As defined in section 7802 (relating to
definitions).
"Licensed facility." As defined in 4 Pa.C.S. § 1103
(relating to definitions).
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
