AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in inchoate crimes, further providing
for prohibited offensive weapons.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 908(b) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
ยง 908. Prohibited offensive weapons.

(b) Exceptions.--

(4) This section shall not apply to any person who uses
or possesses an electric or electronic incapacitation device
as permitted under section 908.1 (relating to use or
possession of electric or electronic incapacitation device).

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
