AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in special licenses and permits, providing for
permit exemptions.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
§ 2902.1. Permit exemptions.
(a) Prohibition.--A permit-exempt licensee shall not be
subject to pay an additional charge or fee for a permit to hunt
a species, the hunting of which, prior to June 19, 2017, did not
require payment of a charge or fee in addition to the amount
paid by the permit-exempt licensee for a senior lifetime
resident hunting license or a senior lifetime resident
combination hunting and furtaker license.
(b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term "permit-
exempt licensee" means an individual who, prior to June 19,
2017, possessed any of the following:

(1) A senior lifetime resident hunting license.
(2) A senior lifetime resident combination hunting and
furtaker license.
Section 2. The addition of 34 Pa.C.S. § 2902.1 shall apply
retroactively to June 19, 2017.
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
