AN ACT
Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
act relating to the public school system, including certain
provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
laws relating thereto," in reimbursements by Commonwealth and
between school districts, further providing for payments on
account of building costs.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2575.1(c) of the act of March 10, 1949
(P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is
amended to read:
Section 2575.1. Payments on Account of Building Costs.--* *

(c) The payment required by this section shall be made:
(1) for the year in which the school district made its
payment on account of the approved building construction or
approved renovation cost[.]; and
(2) only if the approved building construction or approved
renovation includes the designation of a single secure point of

entry for a building through which individuals must enter during
school hours.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
