AN ACT
Amending Title 57 (Notaries Public) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in revised uniform law on notarial
acts, further providing for requirements for certain notarial
acts.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 305(d) of Title 57 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 305. Requirements for certain notarial acts.

(d) Copies.--A notarial officer who certifies or attests a
copy of a record or an item which was copied shall determine
that the copy is a complete and accurate transcription or
reproduction of the record or item. In the case of a deed, a
notarial officer shall attach to the certification a copy of a
government-issued identification card bearing a photograph of
the individual appearing before the notarial officer.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
