AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in criminal history record
information, further providing for expungement.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 9122(b) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph and the
section is amended by adding a subsection to read:
§ 9122. Expungement.

(b) Generally.--Criminal history record information may be
expunged when:

(4) An individual who is the subject of the information
petitions the court for expungment of a nonviolent offense,
including a nonviolent offense under the act of April 14,
1972 (P.L.233, No.64), known as The Controlled Substance,
Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act, if the individual:
