AN ACT
Making a supplemental appropriation from the General Fund to the
Department of Corrections for the fiscal year beginning July
1, 2015.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Appropriation.
For fiscal year 2015-2016, the sum of $939,401,000 is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of
Corrections for the salaries, wages and all necessary expenses
for the proper operation and administration of State
correctional institutions. This appropriation shall be a
supplemental appropriation and shall be in addition to the
appropriation contained in the act of December 29, 2015 (P.L.
, No.10A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 2015.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect immediately.
