AN ACT
Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in administration and enforcement, further
providing for automated teller machines.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1520 of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 1520. Automated teller machines.
The board shall promulgate rules and regulations governing
the placement of automated teller machines [(ATMs)]. Automated
teller machines authorized by the board for use on the gaming
floor or in a licensed facility may not accept an electronic
benefits card or a debit card issued by a Federal or State
governmental agency for purposes of conveying unemployment
compensation benefits.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
