AN ACT
Amending Title 58 (Oil and Gas) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in development, further providing for well
reporting requirements.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 3222 of Title 58 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 3222. Well reporting requirements.

(e) Steel products report.--The following shall apply:
(1) The department shall create a centralized database
on its publicly accessible Internet website which includes
the data reported under subsection (b.1)(2)(ii).
(2) Access to the data provided in the centralized
database shall not be subject to a fee.
(3) In determining the country of origin under this
subsection for a product containing both foreign and United

States steel, the product shall be determined to be a United
States steel product only if at least 75% of the cost of the
articles, materials and supplies have been mined, produced or
manufactured in the United States.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
