AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in hunting and furtaking, further providing for
tagging and reporting big game kills.
AMENDING TITLE 34 (GAME) OF THE PENNSYLVANIA CONSOLIDATED
STATUTES, IN HUNTING AND FURTAKING, FURTHER PROVIDING FOR
TAGGING AND REPORTING BIG GAME KILLS.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2323(a)(3) of Title 34 of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
§ 2323. Tagging and reporting big game kills.
(a) Tags issued with licenses.--

(3) Within [ten days] 24 hours of the kill, the person
shall report the killing of big game as required in the
manner or methods prescribed by commission regulations.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
SECTION 1. SECTION 2323(A)(3) OF TITLE 34 OF THE
PENNSYLVANIA CONSOLIDATED STATUTES IS AMENDED TO READ:

(3) WITHIN [TEN DAYS OF THE KILL] THE TIME FRAME SET BY
THE COMMISSION, THE PERSON SHALL REPORT THE KILLING OF BIG
GAME AS REQUIRED IN THE MANNER OR METHODS PRESCRIBED BY
COMMISSION REGULATIONS.

SECTION 2. THIS ACT SHALL TAKE EFFECT IN 60 DAYS.
