A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the week of November 22 through 28, 2015, as
"National Family Week" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Thanksgiving week, when families traditionally
gather or reunite, is an appropriate time to acknowledge the
strength and diversity of family relationships in our society;
and
WHEREAS, Throughout our nation and this Commonwealth, family
members take care of loved ones, work hard, live responsibly and
contribute to neighborhoods and communities; and
WHEREAS, Working together, families and communities thrive
when responsibilities and resources are shared and connections
are fostered; and
WHEREAS, Federal, State and local agencies and community
organizations have a long history of helping families improve
