AN ACT
Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in ethics standards and financial
disclosure, further providing for statement of financial
interests required to be filed.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1104(d) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 1104. Statement of financial interests required to be filed.

(d) Failure to file required statement.--The following shall
apply:
(1) No public official shall be allowed to take the oath
of office or enter or continue upon his duties, nor shall he
receive compensation from public funds, unless he has filed a
statement of financial interests as required by this chapter.
(2) No public employee shall be allowed to continue in
his employment unless he has filed a statement of financial
interests as required by this chapter.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
