AN ACT
Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in sentencing, further
providing for information sharing.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 9799.18 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 9799.18. Information sharing.

(a.1) The Pennsylvania State Police shall, within three
business days, electronically forward information provided by an
individual as set forth in section 9799.13 (relating to
applicability) under sections 9799.15(g) and (i) (relating to
period of registration), 9799.16(b) (relating to registry) and
9799.19 (relating to initial registration) to the children and
youth agency in the county in which the individual committed any

offense requiring that individual to register as a sexual
offender and to the Department of Human Services.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
