AN ACT
Designating a bridge on that portion of U.S. Route 62 over the
Allegheny River in Oil City, Venango County, as the
Specialist Jonathan R. Kephart Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Specialist Jonathan R. Kephart Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Specialist Kephart grew up in Oil City,
Pennsylvania, where he attended Faith Christian Academy.
(2) Specialist Kephart was a member of the 2nd Squad,
4th Platoon, 230th Military Police Company when he served in
Baghdad, Iraq.
(3) On April 8, 2004, on Specialist Kephart's 10th day
of duty in Iraq, he was killed in a rescue mission while
