AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in nuisances, further providing for
the offense of posting advertisements on property of another.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 6503 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 6503. Posting advertisements on property of another.
(a) [Offense] Offenses defined.--
(1) A person [is guilty of] commits a summary offense if
he pastes, paints, brands or stamps or in any manner
whatsoever places upon or attaches to any building, fence,
bridge, gate, outbuilding or other object, upon the grounds
of any charitable, educational or penal institution of the
Commonwealth, or upon any property belonging to the
Commonwealth government, any political subdivision, or
municipal or local authority, any written, printed, painted
or other advertisement, bill, notice, sign or poster, or
pastes, paints, brands, stamps or in any manner whatsoever
