AN ACT
Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in emergency telephone service,
providing for prohibited release of information.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 35 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 5399. Prohibited release of information.
(a) Prohibition.--Notwithstanding any other law, in a
response to a request under the act of February 14, 2008 (P.L.6,
No.3), known as the Right-to-Know Law, a PSAP may not release a
public record or part of a public record containing identifying
information related to an individual calling a 911 center.
(b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term
"identifying information" includes name, telephone number,
address and location.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
