AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further
providing for nonresidents.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2703 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 2703. Nonresidents.
(a) General rule.--For the purpose of this title, any person
unable to meet the requirements of section 2702 (relating to
residents) shall be a nonresident.
(b) Nonresident full-time student annual licenses.--
(1) For the purposes of this chapter, any person who
does not purchase a resident license is eligible for a
nonresident full-time student license when the person:
(i) Is a nonresident and full-time student enrolled
at a high school, technical school, college or university
in this Commonwealth at least 30 days prior to submission

of the application under subparagraph (ii).
(ii) Has applied to an issuing agent or to the
commission and has provided a valid student
identification card or other written proof of the
enrollment.
(iii) Has paid the issuing agent or the commission a
license fee and issuing agent fee, the amount of which
shall be equal to that paid by a resident applying for
the same type of license.
(2) The spouse or dependent of a person who obtains a
license under paragraph (1) may purchase the same license
when the spouse or dependent complies with paragraph (1)(ii)
and (iii).
(3) The license purchased under this subsection shall be
revoked if the person or the person's spouse or parent:
(i) is no longer a nonresident and full-time student
enrolled at a high school, technical school, college or
university in this Commonwealth during the term of the
license; or
(ii) establishes domicile in and obtains any
privilege or entitlement conditional on residency from
another state.
Section 2. This act shall apply to applications for licenses
submitted in any license year commencing after the effective
date of this section.
Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
