AN ACT
Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in ethics standards and financial
disclosure, further providing for statement of financial
interests.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1105(b)(5) and (c) of Title 65 of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:
ยง 1105. Statement of financial interests.

(b) Required information.--The statement shall include the
following information for the prior calendar year with regard to
the person required to file the statement:

(5) The following shall apply:
(i) The [name and address] amount and source of any
direct or indirect source of income totaling in the
aggregate $1,300 or more. The source shall be identified

by its name and address.
(ii) The amount of the income shall be reported by
indicating one of the following ranges for the amount:
(A) between $1,000 and $9,999;
(B) between $10,000 and $24,999;
(C) between $25,000 and $49,999;
(D) between $50,000 and $99,999;
(E) between $100,000 and $149,999;
(F) between $150,000 and $249,999;
(G) between $250,000 and $499,999;
(H) between $500,000 and $749,999;
(I) between $750,000 and $999,999; or
(J) $1,000,000 or more.
(iii) An amount of stock may be reported by number
of shares.
[However, this] (iv) This provision shall not be
construed to require the divulgence of confidential
information protected by statute or existing professional
codes of ethics or common law privileges.

(c) Reporting amounts.--Except where an amount is required
to be reported pursuant to subsection (b)(5), (6) and (7), the
statement of financial interests need not include specific
amounts for the items required to be listed.

Section 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
