3The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4hereby enacts as follows:

5Section 1. Part II heading of Title 27 of the Pennsylvania
6Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

7PART II. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS [(Reserved)]

8Section 2. Part II of Title 27 is amended by adding a
9chapter to read:

11ENFORCEMENT

131501. Surveillance.

14§ 1501. Surveillance.

15Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of
16Environmental Protection is prohibited from using remote
17surveillance by means of recorded photographic or video images

1to conduct investigations to determine compliance with
2environmental statutes.

3Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
