AN ACT

 

1Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing for license costs and fees.

3The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4hereby enacts as follows:

5Section 1. Section 2709(a) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
6Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

7§ 2709. License costs and fees.

8(a) License costs.--Any person who qualifies under the
9provisions of this chapter shall be issued the applicable
10license upon payment of the following costs and the issuing
11agent's fee:

12(1) (i) Junior resident hunting - $5.

13(ii) Junior resident combination hunting and
14furtaker - $8.

15(2) (i) Adult resident hunting - $19 for the period 
16ending before July 1, 2014.

17(ii) Adult resident hunting - $25 for the period
18beginning after June 30, 2014, and ending before July 1,

12017.

2(iii) Adult resident hunting - $30 for the period
3beginning after June 30, 2017, and ending before July 1,
42020.

5(iv) Adult resident hunting - $35 for the period
6beginning after June 30, 2020, and thereafter.

7[(ii)] (v) Resident military personnel hunting - $1.

8[(iii)] (vi) Former prisoner of war hunting - $1.

9[(iv)] (vii) Pennsylvania National Guard hunting -
10$1.

11[(v)] (viii) Reserve component of the armed forces
12hunting - $1.

13(3) (i) Senior resident hunting - $12.

14(ii) Senior lifetime resident hunting - $50.

15(iii) Senior lifetime resident combination hunting
16and furtaker - $100.

17(4) Bear hunting:

18(i) Resident - $15.

19(ii) Nonresident - $35.

20(5) Antlerless deer:

21(i) Resident, including resident military, resident
22disabled veteran and landowner - $5 for the period ending 
23before July 1, 2014.

24(ii) Resident, including resident military, resident
25disabled veteran and landowner - $12 for the period
26beginning after June 30, 2014, and ending before July 1,
272020.

28(iii) Resident, including resident military,
29resident disabled veteran and landowner - $15 for the
30period beginning after June 30, 2020, and thereafter.

1[(ii)] (iv) Nonresident - $25.

2(6) Archery deer:

3(i) Resident - $15.

4(ii) Nonresident - $25.

5(7) Muzzleloader deer:

6(i) Resident - $10.

7(ii) Nonresident - $20.

8(8) (Reserved).

9(9) Adult nonresident hunting - [$100] $150.

10(10) (i) Junior nonresident hunting - [$40] $20.

11(ii) Junior nonresident combination hunting and
12furtaker - [$50] $25.

13(11) Seven-day nonresident small game - $30.

14(12) Junior resident furtakers - $5.

15(13) Adult resident furtakers - $19.

16(14) (i) Senior resident furtakers - $12.

17(ii) Senior lifetime resident furtaker - $50.

18(15) Adult nonresident furtaker - $80.

19(16) Junior nonresident furtaker - [$40] $20.

20(17) Resident disabled veteran hunting or furtaker under
21section 2706(b) (relating to disabled veterans) - no cost.

22(18) Replacement license - $5. Antlerless deer and bear
23licenses shall be replaced by the original issuing agent
24only.

25(19) Owners or possessors of land open to public hunting
26under section 2706(d) (relating to owners or possessors of
27land open to public hunting) - $3.

28(20) Migratory game bird hunting license:

29(i) Resident - [$2] $5.

30(ii) Nonresident - $5.

1(21) Elk hunting license:

2(i) Resident - $25.

3(ii) Nonresident - $250.

4(22) Special wild turkey license:

5(i) Resident - $20.

6(ii) Nonresident - $40.

7(23) (i) Adult resident combination hunting, furtaker,
8archery and muzzleloader license - $67 for the period
9beginning after June 30, 2014, and ending before July 1,
102018.

11(ii) Adult resident combination hunting, furtaker,
12archery and muzzleloader license - $72 for the period
13beginning after June 30, 2017, and ending before July 1,
142020.

15(iii) Adult resident combination hunting, furtaker,
16archery and muzzleloader license - $77 for the period
17beginning after June 30, 2020, and thereafter.

19Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
