1Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in ethics standards and financial
3disclosure, further providing for restricted activities for
4former officials or employees.

5The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6hereby enacts as follows:

7Section 1. Section 1103(g) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
8Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

9§ 1103. Restricted activities.

11(g) Former official or employee.--No former public official
12or public employee shall represent a person, with promised or
13actual compensation, on any matter before the governmental body
14with which he has been associated for [one year] two years after
15he leaves that body.

17Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
