A RESOLUTION
1Honoring the life and expressing condolences upon the death of
2Senior Airman Bryan Bell, who paid the supreme sacrifice on
3January 5, 2012, while serving his country in Afghanistan.
4WHEREAS, Senior Airman Bryan Bell first started serving his
5community at 14 years of age when he joined the Fairfield Hose
6Company in Harborcreek Township, the firehouse with which his
7father had been a longtime volunteer; and
8WHEREAS, When he graduated from Harbor Creek High School in
92006, Senior Airman Bell decided to serve his country by joining
10the United States Air Force; and
11WHEREAS, Senior Airman Bell quickly discovered that, although
12he enjoyed firefighting, he loved working with robots and doing
13explosive ordinance disposal, also known as EOD; and
14WHEREAS, Senior Airman Bell attained the level of senior
1airman in the EOD division as an EOD technician by 2012; and
2WHEREAS, On Thursday, January 5, 2012, Senior Airman Bell was
3killed while serving his country in Afghanistan, leaving behind
4his parents, Rick Bell and Donna Aldrich; his stepmother, Kim
5Bell; his sister, Candice Bell; and his wife, Alaina Hart Bell;
6therefore be it
7RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives extend
8condolences to the family of Senior Airman Bryan Bell, a
9dedicated and valiant soldier, who shall be remembered and
10respected for his service and heroism; and be it further
11RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
12the family of Senior Airman Bryan Bell.
