1Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in municipal authorities, further 
3providing for money of authority.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 5612(a) of Title 53 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 5612. Money of authority.

9(a) Treasurer.--<-[All money of any authority from whatever
10source derived shall be paid to the treasurer <-or designated 
11recipient of the authority.<-] The treasurer or designated 
12recipient shall receive all moneys due the authority <-regardless 
13of source and deposit them promptly in an account with a 
14designated depository. The name of the account may not include 
15the name of an individual.
