1Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in emergency telephone service,
3further providing for termination.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

<-6Section 1. Section 5398 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

<-8Section 1. Sections 5311.4(h) and 5398 of Title 35 of the
9Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:

10§ 5311.4. Wireless E-911 Emergency Services Fund.

12(h) Surcharge sunset.--The wireless E-911 surcharge fee 
13established in subsections (b) and (b.1) shall terminate on June 
1430, [2014] 2015, unless extended by an act of the General 
15Assembly.

16§ 5398. Termination.

17This chapter shall expire June 30, [2014] 2015.

18Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
