1Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the pay of
3officers and enlisted personnel in active State service.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 3102 of Title 51 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 3102. Pay of officers and enlisted personnel in active State
9service.

10(a) General rule.--When the Pennsylvania National Guard or
11Pennsylvania Guard, or any part thereof, is ordered on active
12duty for State service by the Governor as Commander-in-Chief and
13pay is authorized for such duty under the order prescribing the
14performance thereof, the commissioned officers, warrant officers
15and enlisted personnel so ordered shall be entitled to the same

1pay and allowances and transportation in kind provided for in
2the current Armed Forces Pay and Allowance Act. Notwithstanding
3any provisions of such act, the pay of any such personnel shall
4not be less than [$75] $100 per day.

5(b) Payments and deductions.--All payments of pay and
6service shall be made by the Adjutant General in the usual
7manner. No deductions shall be made from the pay of officers or
8enlisted personnel in active State service for dues or other
9financial obligations imposed by any bylaws, rules or
10regulations of a civil character.

11Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
