1Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing for establishment of State Gaming
3Fund and net slot machine revenue distribution.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 1403(c)(2)(iii)(A) of Title 4 of the
7Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 1403. Establishment of State Gaming Fund and net slot machine
9revenue distribution.

11(c) Transfers and distributions.--The department shall:

13(2) From the local share assessment established in
14subsection (b), make quarterly distributions among the
15counties hosting a licensed facility in accordance with the
16following schedule:

18(iii) If the facility is a Category 2 licensed

1facility and if the county in which the licensed facility
2is located is:

3(A) A county of the first class: 4% of the
4gross terminal revenue to the county hosting the
5licensed facility from each such licensed facility.
6The total amount distributed annually to the county 
7of the first class under this part shall be 
8distributed to the Philadelphia School District.
9Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary,
10funds from licensed gaming entities located within a
11county of the first class shall not be distributed
12outside of a county of the first class. [The first
13$5,000,000 of the total amount distributed annually
14to the county of the first class shall be distributed
15to the Philadelphia School District.]
