1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in penalties and disposition of fines, further
3providing for summary offenses.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 6502(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 6502. Summary offenses.

9(a) Violations of this title.--The following shall apply:

10(1) It is a summary offense for any person to violate
11any of the provisions of this title unless the violation is
12by this title or other statute of this Commonwealth declared
13to be a misdemeanor or felony. [Every]

14(2) Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (3), every
15person convicted of a summary offense for a violation of any
16of the provisions of this title for which another penalty is
17not provided shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25.

18(3) Every person convicted of a summary offense for a

1violation of section 3313(d) (relating to restrictions on use
2of limited access highways) shall be sentenced to pay a fine
3of $100.
