1Amending Title 74 (Transportation) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in turnpike, further providing for
3commission and expenses and bonding of commission members.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 8105(g) of Title 74 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 8105. Commission.

10(g) Compensation.--The annual salary of the Chairman of the
11Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission shall be $28,500, and the
12annual salary of the remaining members of the Pennsylvania
13Turnpike Commission shall be $26,000. These salaries shall be
14paid in equal installments every other week. Commission members
15shall not as part of their compensation use a commission owned 
16or leased vehicle for transportation to and from commission 
17meetings or as regular daily transportation.

18Section 2. Section 8108 of Title 74 is amended by adding a

1subsection to read:

2§ 8108. Expenses and bonding of commission members.

4(a.1) Vehicle travel or mileage.--Commission members may be
5reimbursed actual mileage for travel by motor vehicle.
6Commission members shall be reimbursed at a rate equal to the
7highest rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. If travel
8is by other than motor vehicle, reimbursement shall be for
9actual, vouchered travel expenses.
