AN ACT

 

1Amending the act of June 1, 1956 (1955 P.L.1944, No.655),
2entitled "An act providing a permanent allocation of a part
3of the fuels and liquids fuels tax proceeds to cities,
4boroughs, incorporated towns and townships, for their road,
5street and bridge purposes; conferring powers and imposing
6duties on local officers and the Department of Highways; and
7making an appropriation out of the Motor License Fund; and
8repealing existing legislation," further providing for
9allocated money.

10The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11hereby enacts as follows:

12Section 1. Section 4(3) of the act of June 1, 1956 (1955
13P.L.1944, No.655), referred to as the Liquid Fuels Tax Municipal
14Allocation Law, amended November 23, 2004 (P.L.944, No.138), is
15amended to read:

16Section 4. The money hereby appropriated to municipalities
17shall be paid to the municipalities in accordance with the
18following formula and subject to the provisions of this act:

1(3) The moneys allocated in clause (1) shall be paid over,
2in the manner provided by law, by the department to the
3respective cities, boroughs, towns and townships, on the first
4days of July and December, 1956, and the first day of [April]
5March of each subsequent year.

6Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
