1Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in enforcement, further providing for powers and
3duties of waterways conservation officers.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 901(a)(12) of Title 30 of the
7Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, amended November 1, 2012
8(P.L.1716, No.211), is amended to read:

9§ 901. Powers and duties of waterways conservation officers and
10deputies.

11(a) Waterways conservation officers.--Every waterways
12conservation officer shall have the power and duty to:

14(12) When in the performance of their duties, pursue,
15apprehend or arrest any individual suspected of violating any
16provision of Title 18 (relating to crimes and offenses) or 75 
17(relating to vehicles) or any other offense classified as a
18misdemeanor or felony. They shall also have the power to

1serve and execute warrants issued by the proper authorities
2for offenses referred to in this paragraph and to serve
3subpoenas issued for examination. All powers as provided for
4in this paragraph will be limited by such administrative
5procedure as the executive director, with the approval of the
6commission, shall prescribe.
