AN ACT

 

1Making appropriations from the Workmen's Compensation
2Administration Fund to the Department of Labor and Industry
3and the Department of Community and Economic Development to
4provide for the expenses of administering the Workers'
5Compensation Act, The Pennsylvania Occupational Disease Act
6and the Office of Small Business Advocate for the fiscal year
7July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014, and for the payment of bills
8incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
9ending June 30, 2013.

10The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11hereby enacts as follows:

12Section 1. The sum of $75,428,000, or as much thereof as may
13be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Workmen's
14Compensation Administration Fund to the Department of Labor and
15Industry for the payment of all salaries, wages and other
16compensation and travel expenses, for contractual services and
17other expenses necessary for the administration of the act of
18June 2, 1915 (P.L.736, No.338), known as the Workers'
19Compensation Act, and the act of June 21, 1939 (P.L.566, 
20No.284), known as The Pennsylvania Occupational Disease Act, for
21the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, and for the payment of
22bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal

1year ending June 30, 2013.

2Section 2. The sum of $194,000 is hereby appropriated from
3the restricted revenue account within the Workmen's Compensation
4Administration Fund to the Office of Small Business Advocate in
5the Department of Community and Economic Development as provided
6in the act of June 2, 1915 (P.L.736, No.338), known as the
7Workers' Compensation Act, for the operation of that office for
8the fiscal year July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014.

9Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013, or
10immediately, whichever is later.
