1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in size, weight and load, further providing for
3maximum gross weight of vehicles.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 4941 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8§ 4941. Maximum gross weight of vehicles.

10(d) Exemption from maximum gross weight restrictions.--Any
11construction truck that is retrofitted for propulsion by an
12alternative fuel shall be exempt from maximum gross weight
13restrictions within 2,000 pounds of the maximum gross weight.

14Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
