AN ACT
1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in licensing of drivers, further providing for
3learners' permits.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. Section 1505(d) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8§ 1505. Learners' permits.

10(d) Duration of permit.--A learner's permit shall be valid
11for a period of one year after date of issue, or until the
1holder of the permit has failed the examination as authorized in
2section 1508 (relating to examination of applicant for driver's
3license) three times within the one-year period. A person may
4reapply for a motorcycle learner's permit no more frequently
5than three times in a ten-year period from when the person first
6applies.

8Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
