1Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, further providing for division of
3entireties property.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 3507(b) of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 3507. Division of entireties property between divorced
9persons.

11(b) Division of proceeds.--Except as provided in subsection
12(c), the proceeds of a sale under this section[,] shall be 
13equally divided between the parties after [the payment] all of 
14the following:

15(1) Payment of the expenses of sale[, shall be equally
16divided between the parties].

17(2) Allowance of credit and imposition of charges
18between the parties because of:

1(i) use and occupancy of the property;

2(ii) taxes;

3(iii) rents; or

4(iv) other amounts paid, services rendered,
5liabilities incurred or benefits derived.

7Section 2. The amendment of 23 Pa.C.S. § 3507(b) shall apply 
8to actions commenced on or after the effective date of this 
9section.

10Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
