AN ACT
1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing for special plates for recipients
3of the Medal of Honor.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. Section 1345 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8§ 1345. Special plates for recipients of the Medal of Honor.
9Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the
10Medal of Honor, the department shall issue to such person a
11special registration plate designating the vehicle so licensed
12as belonging to a person who is a recipient of the Medal of
13Honor. [The plate shall have a light blue background
14interspersed with 13 white stars. The center of the plate shall
15bear a golden bronze replica of the appropriate medal. The
16initials of each recipient shall be embossed in red to the left
17of the medal and the letters "CMH" (for Congressional Medal of
1Honor) shall be embossed in red to the right of the medal.] The
2special registration plate may be used only on a passenger car
3or truck with a registered gross weight of not more than 14,000
4pounds.
5Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
