AN ACT

1Amending the act of April 16, 1992 (P.L.155, No.28), entitled 
2"An act providing for the certification and recertification
3of assessors; establishing eligibility and training
4requirements; defining the powers and duties of the State
5Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers relating to
6training, certification and recertification of assessors; and
7authorizing the board to establish fees," further providing
8for nonapplicability.

9The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10hereby enacts as follows:

11Section 1. Section 11 of the act of April 16, 1992 (P.L.155, 
12No.28), known as the Assessors Certification Act, amended
13November 19, 2004 (P.L.834, No.100), is repealed:

14[Section 11. Nonapplicability.

15This act shall not apply to counties of the first class.]

16Section 2. An assessor who is employed by a county of the
17first class on the effective date of this section shall have
18three years from the effective date of this section to become
19certified under the act.

20Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
