1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in Pennsylvania Turnpike, further providing for
3deposit and distribution of funds.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1.  Section 8915.6(b)(4) of Title 75 of the
7Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 8915.6.  Deposit and distribution of funds.

10(b)  Distribution.--The following shall apply:

12(4)  Any funds deposited under subsection (a) but not
13distributed under paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) shall be
14distributed [in accordance with needs-based formulas that are
15developed and subject to periodic revision based on
16consultation and collaboration among metropolitan planning
17organizations, rural planning organizations and the
18department] only to counties that contain a portion of the 

1Pennsylvania Turnpike within their physical boundaries. The 
2percentage of revenue distributed under this paragraph shall 
3be the percentile equivalent of the total toll revenue 
4collected at the interchanges within the respective counties.

6Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
