AN ACT
1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in registration of vehicles, providing for a
3special license plate for female veterans.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8§ 1364.1. Special plates for female veterans.
9Upon application of any person who is an honorably discharged
10female veteran of the armed forces of the United States or a
11reserve component of the armed forces as defined in 51 Pa.C.S. §
127301 (relating to definitions), accompanied by a fee of $20
13which shall be in addition to the annual registration fee and by
14such documentation as the department shall require, the
15department shall issue to the person a special registration
16plate designating the vehicle as belonging to a person who is a
1female veteran of the armed forces of the United States. The
2special registration plate may be used only on a passenger car
3or truck with a registered gross weight of not more than 10,000
4pounds.
5Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
