| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Authorizing the Department of Conservation and Natural |
2 | Resources, Department of Transportation, Department of |
3 | Environmental Protection and Cambria County Transit |
4 | Authority, on behalf of the Commonwealth, to agree to hold |
5 | and save the United States Army Corps of Engineers free from |
6 | certain damages arising from certain construction projects. |
7 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
8 | hereby enacts as follows: |
9 | Section 1. Hold harmless. |
10 | The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, |
11 | Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental |
12 | Protection and the Cambria County Transit Authority, acting for |
13 | and in the name of the Commonwealth, are authorized to agree to |
14 | hold and save the United States Army Corps of Engineers free |
15 | from all damages arising from construction, operation and |
16 | maintenance of a collapsible dam in the Conemaugh River in |
17 | Cambria County and other related projects, involving cooperative |
18 | agreements between the Commonwealth and the United States Army |
19 | Corps of Engineers, except for any damages due to the fault or |
20 | negligence of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. |

2 | This act shall take effect immediately. |
