INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35, MARCH 12, 2012  

A RESOLUTION

Honoring BAYADA Home Health Care for 37 years of providing

in-home care.

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care was founded in January 1975

in Philadelphia by J. Mark Baiada; and

WHEREAS, It is the mission of BAYADA Home Health Care to help

people have a safe home life with comfort, independence and

dignity; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care provides nursing,

rehabilitative, therapeutic, hospice and assistive care services

to children, adults and seniors nationwide; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care is the largest provider of

pediatric home health care for medically fragile children in

this Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care cares for its clients 24

hours a day, seven days a week; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care strives to make it possible

for millions of people worldwide to experience a better quality

of life in the comfort of their own homes; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care has three core values:

compassion, excellence and reliability; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care holds the following beliefs:

(1)  Its clients come first.

(2)  Its employees are its greatest asset.

(3)  Building relationships and working together are

critical to its success as a company of compassionate

caregivers.

(4)  It must demonstrate honesty and integrity at all

times;

and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care serves more than 17,700

clients annually in Pennsylvania; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care employed more than 9,200

individuals in Pennsylvania in 2011; and

WHEREAS, BAYADA Home Health Care is providing services in 58

counties in this Commonwealth and is expanding; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor BAYADA Home

Health Care for 37 years of providing home health care services

to the residents of this Commonwealth; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to

BAYADA Home Health Care, 1315 Walnut Street, Suite 600,

Philadelphia, PA 19107.
