INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35, APRIL 8, 2011  

A RESOLUTION

Honoring Bayada Nurses on 36 years of providing in-home care.

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses was founded in January 1975 in

Philadelphia by Mark Baiada; and

WHEREAS, It is the mission of Bayada Nurses to help people

have a safe home life with comfort, independence and dignity;

and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses provides skilled rehabilitative,

therapeutic and personal home health care services to children,

adults and seniors nationwide; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses is the largest provider of pediatric

home health care for medically fragile children in this

Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses cares for their clients 24 hours a

day, seven days a week; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses makes it possible for millions of

people world wide to experience a better quality of life in the

comfort of their own homes; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses has three core values consisting of

compassion, excellence and reliability; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses believes that their clients come

first, their employees are Bayada Nurses' greatest asset,

building relationships and working together are critical to

their success as a company of compassionate caregivers and they

must demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses serves 19,500 patients nationwide; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses has 14,000 employees; and

WHEREAS, Bayada Nurses provides services in 47 counties in

this Commonwealth and is expanding; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor Bayada

Nurses for 36 years of providing in-home care services to the

residents of this Commonwealth; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to

Bayada Nurses, 1315 Walnut Street, Suite 600, Philadelphia, PA

19107.
