AN ACT

Amending the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), entitled "An

act to consolidate, editorially revise, and codify the public

welfare laws of the Commonwealth," providing for a

prohibition on eligibility expansions for voluntary

populations.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  The act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), known

as the Public Welfare Code, is amended by adding a section to

read:

Section 451.1.  Eligibility Expansions For Voluntary

Populations Prohibited.--Notwithstanding any other law,

eligibility criteria for voluntary populations to receive

medical assistance approved under the Patient Protection and

Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148, 124 Stat. 119) may not

be expanded.

Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
