| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Prohibiting certain road signs from displaying the name of the |
2 | sitting Governor. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. Prohibition. |
6 | The name of the sitting Governor of the Commonwealth may not |
7 | be displayed on any road sign erected, purchased or maintained |
8 | by the Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Turnpike |
9 | Commission or any other State agency, bureau or commission if |
10 | the road sign is located at or near the border of this |
11 | Commonwealth and another state and the road sign primarily |
12 | serves to welcome motorists to this Commonwealth or to inform |
13 | persons that they are entering this Commonwealth. |
14 | Section 2. Effective date. |
15 | This act shall take effect immediately. |
