| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending the act of July 7, 2011 (P.L.216, No.37), entitled "An |
2 | act designating U.S. Route 62 in Mercer County as the Mercer |
3 | County Veterans Highway," designating U.S. Route 62 in |
4 | Venango County as the Venango County Veterans Highway; |
5 | designating U.S. Route 62 in Forest County as the Forest |
6 | County Veterans Highway; and designating U.S. Route 62 in |
7 | Warren County as the Warren County Veterans Highway. |
8 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
9 | hereby enacts as follows: |
10 | Section 1. The title of the act of July 7, 2011 (P.L.216, |
11 | No.37), entitled "An act designating U.S. Route 62 in Mercer |
12 | County as the Mercer County Veterans Highway," is amended to |
13 | read: |
14 | AN ACT |
15 | Designating U.S. Route 62 in Mercer County as the Mercer County |
16 | Veterans Highway; designating U.S. Route 62 in Venango County |
17 | as the Venango County Veterans Highway; designating U.S. |
18 | Route 62 in Forest County as the Forest County Veterans |
19 | Highway; and designating U.S. Route 62 in Warren County as |
20 | the Warren County Veterans Highway. |
21 | Section 2. The act is amended by adding sections to read: |

2 | (a) Designation.--U.S. Route 62 in Venango County is hereby |
3 | designated as the Venango County Veterans Highway. |
4 | (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
5 | maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway |
6 | designated in subsection (a) to traffic in both directions. |
7 | Section 3. Forest County Veterans Highway. |
8 | (a) Designation.--U.S. Route 62 in Forest County is hereby |
9 | designated as the Forest County Veterans Highway. |
10 | (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
11 | maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway |
12 | designated in subsection (a) to traffic in both directions. |
13 | Section 4. Warren County Veterans Highway. |
14 | (a) Designation.--U.S. Route 62 in Warren County is hereby |
15 | designated as the Warren County Veterans Highway. |
16 | (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
17 | maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway |
18 | designated in subsection (a) to traffic in both directions. |
19 | Section 3. Section 2 of the act is amended to read: |
20 | Section [2] 5. Effective date. |
21 | This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
22 | Section 4. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
